About Me
I'm an instructional designer with over a decade of experience transforming complex information into intuitive, engaging learning experiences.
My Journey
My path to instructional design wasn't linear, but it was logical. Starting in graphic communications, I developed a keen eye for visual hierarchy and production workflows. I quickly realized that good design isn't just about aesthetics, it's about communication. This realization led me to the world of learning and development, where I found my true passion: bridging the gap between complex subject matter and learner understanding.
Since 2011, I've navigated diverse landscapes, from the fast-paced real estate tech world at Redfin to the precision-demanding healthcare sector at MedBridge. Currently, at Latham & Watkins, I lead strategic learning initiatives for a global legal workforce. Whether I'm designing a firm-wide AI curriculum or streamlining compliance training for thousands of employees, my goal remains the same: to create learning experiences that respect the learner's time and intelligence.
I thrive at the intersection of strategy and creativity. I don't just build courses; I solve business problems. By combining data-driven insights with compelling storytelling and modern tools like Articulate 360 and Synthesia, I deliver training that drives real behavioral change, not just a checked box.
Design Philosophy
Learner-Centric
Every project starts with the learner. Who are they? What do they need to do? How can we make their journey as smooth as possible?
Data-Driven
I believe in measuring impact. Whether it's through LMS analytics or post-training feedback, data guides my design iterations.
Visually Engaging
Good design isn't just decoration; it's communication. I use visual hierarchy and clean aesthetics to reduce cognitive load.
Agile & Adaptable
The learning landscape changes fast. I stay adaptable, embracing new tools like AI and rapid development methodologies.
